so… you’ve started a layout in indesign.

and you just need both horizontal and vertical guidelines. do you have to drag twice (once for each vertical and horizontal guideline)? Noooo.

See the intersection of the two rulers? Hold Ctrl as you drag from that intersection to create a horizontal and also a vertical guide.
