so i’ve seen you’re quite interested in creating an indesign brochure. (at least google’s analytics) tells me that you’ve search it in order to get to me. :)

so, after you read how to create an indesign folding brochure, just see the options for folding an indesign brochure.

but before that, here’s how you should order the brochure pages in indesign:

1. first side should contain brochure’s pages (5-6-1. in this order!), like this:

2. the verso of the brochure should contain pages (2-3-4. in this order!), like this:

and now… here’s the options folding the brochure in indesign:

    i am new to indesign and i am trying to create a brochure for my dad’s hotel bussiness.I have a problem setting up the margins and bleeds for the brochure.How many mm should set for the margins,bleeds and etc.

    When i open indesign and create a three column document,the margins are automatically set.do u mind sending me the picture of the initial settings of a brochure.from when u open indesign and how you put in the
    values so i can follow up.i am really desparate to learn and i hope you will kindly help me.thanks in advance.

    Hi Amir,
    It’s not so complicated.
    I think you want to make an A4 folded brochure. So the first step is to open a new document with this settings:

    Number of pages: 2 without facing pages
    Page size: A4
    Margins: 10 mm
    Bleed: 5 mm

    And to help you more I’ll make a new tutorial, to see and follow every step.

    Hello I was asked to create a program guide that folds like a road map. It will fold down to about 5″ x 4″ It will have 4 rows and 4 columns. I am unsure as to how this will fold and I want to make sure that the printer folds the program correctly. Any advice? I am unfamiliar with road map folds.
