hello!

i just discovered how to use a little icon to show before my adress in the browsers

it’s really nice.

so! you need to put this line in between head tag in your html file
<link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”http://www.yoursite.com/favicon.ico” />
you have to create an icon and put it where your site is :)
you can create an icon with any vectorial software and then just copy and paste in any of the icon making programs.
If you don’t know any vectorial software, this is what i use: Icon Cool Editor. it’s a 30 days trial but works fine

    hey Mihai
    I just took a look at my blogger and i did it. i changed the icon with another one.
    U have to find in your blog the html editor. and there u have to introduce this in between the head tags ( here

    u can do it only if u have another site or something similar and u can put the icon there

    Another nice tools

    - online ico files creator
    http://www.rw-designer.com/online_icon_maker.php
    and
    - online ico file converter
    http://www.htmlkit.com/services/favicon/

    And don’t forgot to use transparency not white, because the address bar is white in 98% instances but the tab bar is in 2% instances white and will show an ugly icon there.
