i’ve been to budapest.
and i liked it. see?

i just want to tell you that i’m going to budapest for the weekend. so i won’t be here for a few days. if you’re intersted about that, here’s some cool tips i used for lowering the budget

1. airline tickets:

-book your tickets with at least 1 month before your trip. or just wait for those last minutes offers.
- avoid plannig your trip during “hot events” (like a real madrid vs fc barcelona football game or who know what kind of convention)
- check multiple airlines. you can find a site that does this for you here.
- for free is nothing!! when the airline offers you “free airline tickets”, you wil still had to pay airport taxes. check them before that final click.

2. hotel reservations:

- i found mine using hostel world with available accomodation almost anywhere. here’s one available only for budapest.
- check the reservation fee.
- choose your hotel using not only service charge in mind. check the previous customers’ ratings.

3. money changing:

- hungary is a EU member so they accept euro. anyway it is better for you to have forint (1 eur is aprox 255 huf … check here).
- don’t change your money in airports or in raillway station. it’s more expensive.
- in hungary, the exchange rates are negotiable!!
